    k guys i think the problem i have is pretty serious…i restored it and put the new firmware on it BUT after its done, it gets stuck on the Apple logo and then I pretty much do the same process again, im taking it to the Apple store on monday, and its going to cost me $200 to get it fixed so if any of you know whats wrong and know how to fix it. please send me a message..

    ugh i have the exact same problem…however, i have another computer at my house and that one managed to detect my ipod. so if you have another computer with itunes, connect it to that and see if it’s able to detect it :p

    i tried to update my ipod and an unknown error occured. now the ONLY thing my ipod will display is the “connect to itunes” screen, but when i connect it, itunes doesn’t detect it at all. ive tried doing the restore like u showed but nothing has happened. any advice?

    I heard something that..when you download apps on your iPhone with installious, and then when you sinq your iPhone with iTunes it will remove the apps you downloaded with installious…is that true?

    Hi m8, my itouch got set into recovery mode whilst i was updating it to 3.1.3 version and when i tried to restore it it wouldn’t work…It kept on saying it couldn’t open the URL….WTH IS THE URL?! PLZ HELP!!!!!

    Please help me,
    I did the whole process perfectly, but it came back to the itunes log and the UBS cord on the iphone connecting it on, (on the screen) .
    Please help !
    What do i do next ?

    i did already and it happened i cant open, it goes to emergency call if i slide the menu and if i connect now to itunes i cant see the main menu of my iphone, now i can receive a call but i cant open my phone
